Different brand mem

I just build a intel 6400 and I got only 1 meg of ram.The brand I use now(corsair ddr2-800)have a lot of problem with the manufactories of the chip. One week ago I order 2 corsair and one was't good.I got to send them back for the refund.

The issues I found mixing brands of memory are they often don't have the same latency and voltage. This is especially troublesome if you're overlocking. I had 2x1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 and 2x1GB OCZ DDR2-800. They work together without any overclock but once I started to overclock I could not get them to work beyond a mild overclock.

This may or may not be related to different brands of memory ... most motherboards require higher latency settings when running with 4 DIMMs installed.
