I'm plaining to do a dual boot with 98se and Win2k Adv Ser. Is there any real concerns with using Adv Server or should I use Pro?

According to your system specs, you should just use Win2K Pro. The main benefits of Windows 2000 Advanced Server compared to Win2K Pro are support for 8 processors, a max of 64GB RAM, and high-availability clustering, none of which you actually need.

Just stick with Win2K Pro to save a significant chunk of money.

Nice to say but, money isn't a concern. I want to familuarize myself with Adv Ser also as it was suggested to me by a teacher as that is what he uses in class. I'm just looking for concerns installing it and if any hardware conflicts to be aware of? 🙂

i'd definately bump up your ram if you plan on running AS. i wouldnt touch it with less than 256, and would recommend more if possible

Yes AS has more demanding requirement than Pro in terms of memory. There are also extra features in the AS related specific to server operations such as the Active Directory Services. Unless you are running a server these services are pretty much useless for the home environment.
