Differences between XP Home and Pro

I did a search and came up with nothing, tried google and it didn't offer much, read a magazine article that listed some differences. I am using XP pro on this rig right now, but I got XP home coming on the new one. From what I've read so far, it didn't seem necessary to pay extra for pro.

What are all the major differences?
 
An aspect I don't think is very often mentioned is that WinXP Pro will have two more years of support via Windows Update because it's the business-oriented version. Whether that means much to you, I don't know.
 
Software Installation and Maintenance ? automatically install, configure, repair, or remove software applications.

What does this mean? All the other differences don't seem to matter to me.

It goes hand in hand with the other remote administration features of Professional. It allows administrators on a domain to remotely deploy or update software on XP Pro client machines.
 
Thank you very much. It seems I don't much need xp pro for what I do, so I was right in saving my money.
 
You know, that with SP2, I find very little difference between the too (even the splash screen is now the same!)
 
Example: on XP Pro, you can just go straight in to setup up the network using a control panel. In Home, you have to start the stupid wizard before you can get to the control panel IIRC.

BTW, I haven't used home Edition for about a year now so I may be wrong now.

Yes I don't know the specifics but the big difference is networking
