Differences between these two boards?

This is it. I am sooooo ready to pull the trigger to complete my system. The only missing parts are CPU, mobo, ram and a case.

Biostar TA series seem to be a good choice for excellent overclocking and possibility of unlocking the third core on X3 P2s. Newgg carries both of these mobos I put in the topic summary, and I would like to confirm what differences are between the two.

From what I could tell, the only glaring difference between the two is the amount of frame-buffer for the IGP (64mb vs 128mb). I do have a HD4830 and hand and currently am considering the CF route so IGP really isn't needed. Have I missed anything, or is there some sort of caveat?

On a side note, since they say this is the best IGP ever... Does extra 64mb make a difference for the IGP? Is this IGP even powerful enough to make a good use of more memory?

This is a bit OT, but is there any decent 2gb x2 modules you would recommend for RAM? I am not sure how sensitive P2 X3s are to ram timing in regards to gaming performance when OC'ed.

As for the case, I think I will deviate from my routine of getting a discounted antec for once and get a CM690 for a change :)

EDIT: the A2+ version is OOS at egg, so that leaves me with no choice. My question still stands, just for the sake of curiosity.

From the reviews I've read, the sideport memory makes only a little bit of difference - less than 10%, generally. As far as RAM, I really like G.Skill. I have 2 of their 2x 2gb kits, and they will do DDR2-960 with stock timings at 2.0v. They were cheaper when I got them, though.

I'm sure there's other good RAM out there, too. The G.Skill works just fine w/my OC'd PhII X3 710 & Biostar mobo.

$45.99 now, damn :(

Thanks for the reply, looks like an IGP is an IGP after all. I think I found a better deal for mobo + CPU shipped at Superbiz ($215 shipped) vs at egg ($225, only after AR). The version Superbiz carries happens to be the 128mb version. Now I regret I should have posted a consolidated thread in general hardware, with three separate posts in Memory, Mobo and CPU :(
