I have a 29160N SCSI card, but it seens it is the same thing with 19160 physically, except that 29160N supports more OSs. Are there any differences in performance between these two cards?

<< except that 29160N supports more OSs[/b] That's it. The 29160N commands a price premium because it supports various flavours of Unix that are typically used in a server. Server = Expensive ;)

The 19160 is for Windows Workstations only. Workstation still = Expensive, but not as expensive as Server.

With Windows NT Server versions I'm not quite sure how well that mold fits...but that would be my guess.

But yes the 19160 and 29160N are the same physical card...same connectors, same controller chip...probably just a different BIOS chip to determine OS usage...

I thought that the 29160N had 2 internal 68 pin connectors & 1 50 pin connector vs 1 of each for the the 19160 card!
