But thats what i dont understand.

If both of them do the same thing.. how is one legal and the other illegal?

But hookers you pay for sex straight up, escorts you pay to escort you, and you aren't actually "guaranteed" nookie.

Escorts get around the law by simply offering their company for a night, as opposed to offering sex for money straight up. Of course, you could always claim she found you so attractive she just had to have sex with you, regardless of the fact that you originally paid for her company.
