difference on RAM

if the mobo supports DC, would 2 unmatched pair of rams like say, Kingston 512mb 3200 400mhz and mushkin 512mb 3200 400 mhz work in dual? or even mobo supports it, the ram itself has to be sold in pairs 2x512mb like that?

Probably would but I don't know about stability. I suppose since they are both from good companies it shouldn't matter but don't quote me on any of this as I have not tried myself. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it in my own system, I would much rather sell the stuff I have and buy all of one brand.

Yes you can run them at that configuration. As long as both modules are of the same type and size, the motheboard BIOS will automatically pick them up as Dual-Channel, otherwise; if they don't than most likely there is something wrong.
