ZM80A: $25@svc

both use copper tubes

Which ones better?

Another vote for the C-Version. It works well on my Radeon 9600 Pro @ 465/310 even with only about 30CFM of system airflow. I bought it instead of the A because it has less mass.

The Zalman HP-80A is the older version but looks very very Sexy because of its Golden Color.

The ZM-80C has a fan bracket so if your are buying this Cooler for OC, make sure you buy a ZM-OP1 Fan as well for 10 $.

Thats a total of 40 $ almost but its a beast that cool hell.

OR MAY BE YOU WANT TO BUY A THERMALTAKE GIANT III, if you are unaware.

TT has released thier Giant III which has DUAL HEATPIPES + a normal Fan + A sense less Blower Fan + Great manuals.

The TT Uses Nickel Plated copper heat pipe while the zalman uses a Gold plated Nickel Tube.

I think a Zalman ZM-80C With fans is superb + Silent But the TT Giant III Takes full points for Ultra Cooling, i havent seen the difference b/w TT and Zalman though...

Just so you know, you can use almost any fan with the ZM-80C. All you need to hold it on are small enough headed screws and some kind of bolt to fasten it to the fan.

Yep, I put a papst 6800rpm fan (on a fan controller though) on mine instead of buying the zalman fan. The difference with the fan on low and the fan off is like night and day.
