Difference in 333 and 400 FSB?

I'm running a 2500+ on an a7v333 with PC3200 ram. I know all signs point to getting the mobo that supports 400 FSB, but I'm wondering... how much performance gain will I see? I'm a pretty broke guy, I was thinking about just staying with this set up until I can afford a new/really good motherboard/cpu setup like an A64 or something.

Also, I can't clock my processor higher than 166x11 on this current motherboard because of the FSB limitation, can I?

I'm just wondering if it's worth the cash or if I should just wait, I'm getting pretty decent framerates in Doom 3. How big of an FPS gain would I see by grabbing the NF7-S v2?

wait, you will see very very minimal differencesin performance. like 5 fps at most(depending on video card of course). wait till around christmas when s939 will be cheaper and hopefully NF4 will be out.

What about being able to overclock my CPU to 2.2Ghz, that would help no? Hmmmm... I'm just trying to decide.

In gaming and A/V conversion I saw a hefty increase in performance when I overclock my 2500+ to 3200+. It's been running at 3200+ for over a year now, I'll never run it at stock speed.

And the NF7-S R2 is among the best of the best for S462 systems. But $91 is high now that A64 is out, I suggest looking in the FS/FT forums for a good deal on a used board.
