They're both the same color. Both have T-Tops. Both have a 5.7L

What's the difference? I've only looked at the Trans am so far which is $5970 (has 112k miles) and the Firebird is $5500 (has 91k miles)

I think the Formula is slightly lighter and faster... not sure what it's missing that the Trans Am has though. I didn't really research Firebirds too much when I went car shopping a couple years ago... mainly because too many people had them. ;)

If those are your options, I'd get the Formula.

AKA it has 2000 more hp. Go for that

ok, we all know the spoiler hits its limit at about 400 more hp. unless you get one of those pink one with lots of honda stickers on it.

A Trans Am is a Formula that has pretty round effects and such - looks nicer. A Formula just looks like the base model except it has a V8. May be other small differences too.

The T/A is a higher trim level. It usually comes with more options and the ground effects package is a bit different.

Didn't the Trans Am offer a ram-air option, while the Formula did not? Trans Am does look a bit different...

94 is the NEWWER body style, no GTA here.

But for the most part the T/A is a fancy and nicer looking car, the forumla is a very fast balls to the walls cheap car. If you want all out speed go formula, if you want looks and some speed then go T/A

Ok main differences...

Raised Spoiler on TA
Front Nose
Formula is lighter
Rear Bumper
Fog Lights
Ground Effects/Side Skirts (TA has em, Forumla doesnt)
Some people say the gears are different... but both Forumlas and TA's had the same gear options.

And TAs typically had more standard options, but both could get the same options.

I have a 94 Formula myself.
