Difference between Vortex SQ2500 and SuperQuad?

I've never heard of the "superquad" but i have an aurealvortex2 sq2500 and produces pretty good sound quality (i have the cambridge DTT2500), and i'm sure you can find it DIRT CHEAP, i bought mine a year ago for $30, i'm sure it's not as good as the new cards, but it works well for my desktop theatre.
 
when i first installed XP, my sound card presented some problems.....XP installed "legacy" drivers attached to my sound card, my computer would freeze, lock, and fail to load windows, i opened it in safe mode and uninstalled/reinstalled everything minus the legacy crap. Works fine now! Just informing you in the event you face the same dilemma, so your not troubleshooting like a madman (me).
 
Ugh. Geez i thought it was gonna be smooth sailing from here. But thanks...i'll keep a look out on that! I hate it when that happens...
