difference between these two EVGA 7800GS?

I don't see the difference except one comes with a "free" mobo for $15 more.

I have a XP-M running 2.2 GHZ. Since the mobo is S754, seems like it wouldn't be much use to do a half ass upgrade?

hmm... looks like there is a "max" frequency change. One is 20x15 @85hz, the other is 20x15 @ 75hz. interesting.

otherwise, unless you are planning to upgrade your CPU, then go with the $284 one.

go with #2 the motherboard is free...just sell it for a profit.

Ok , I'm starting to feel like I shoulda bought the first one that he listed up there. I got the Superclock verson....which only lists a 30mhz increase on the core & 50mhz increase on the memory over this card.....and both have Shader Model 3.0
Anyone think I could have saved myself a few bucks and got the 7800gs CO and just overclocked the thing? I mean that much difference in speed for $40-$50 is seeming crazy to me now.....
Anyone have any opinions on that?
