Yep, what Cooler said, they seem to OC a good bit better, they run cooler, have the extra cache, and also have virtualization technology. What kind of cooling are you using to keep that 830 cool at 4ghz?? That a pretty high OC for an 830, they don't usualy do that well, and if your temps are high you could be throttling. My 830 didn't even make it to 3.1ghz. The 9xx seem to be hitting 4ghz on stock voltage.

Can you please Oh Master tell me what is VT sorry I am quite new but due to the old and wise here I am getting better each day... I had my nephew configured it for me.. it goes between 3.8 to 4.1 but not stable with water cool and some tubes but at 3.9+ and 4.0 it works when i left it on the whole night for a week or so now running queries, distributed transactions at work. It is very fast so far with Cosair, as I just wanted to know more of the D930 as I heard from some apart from just slightly cooler there was not much except that VT as I compared and maybe oc 50-150 mhz more only but I do not know they are unofficial anyway.

VT allows you to create hardware partitions so you can run multiple OS on the same processor and stuff like that. Apparently its important for some buisiness apllications, but not most users.
