Difference between the APC BE350 and BE350C?

What's the difference? Neither are listed on the APC site, so pretty hard to figure out. From what I've found so far, the BE350C has telephone protection and the BE350 doesn't. The BE350C looks a lot smaller than the BE350. The BE350C only has a 2 year warranty, so I'm wondering if it's lower quality than the BE350. Anybody else have any ideas?

Are you sure it is BE350 and not BF350? I am very familiar with APC products and I have not seen that model number. In the past the "C" would indicate Coax (TV) protection. However they changed it and now it means it has a clear case. Also, the 2 year warranty is standard for most APC products.

Yes, it's BE. I know it's not listed anywhere. :) Check Circuit City's site, they have both there. I orded two BE350's since that was the only one I could find in stock at my local store, so hopefully they'll have some when I go to pick them up. The BE350 is the one that was on sale this weekend, so I was very surprised that online it said the store was in stock.

From the pics, the C doesn't mean clear. The BE350C just looks to be smaller than the BE350. I have two BF350's, and these don't look like it. :)

DOH... I just realized what it is (and confirmed it by looking at your link). They are the new Back-UPS Office line. I think APC may have abandoned them and given them to Conext. Conext is a company that I think (actually I am quite sure) APC started to sell their old or junk products. I have a smaller version of the same unit with Conext's name on it. I do not trust Conext at all and am very upset with APC for starting this whole deal. I personally would not get that UPS as I consider the Office series to be APC's lowest end. I would have recommended an APC Back-UPS Pro series unit.

I've noticed that APC-Conext thing too. I've actually seen APC rebates that are valid for UPSs from both manufacturers.

Anyway, each BE350 is going to be $10 after rebate, so I'm not real worried about quality. :) I actually won't be using them right away anyway. They'll just be backups for my other UPSs.
