I have an Asus A7V and it says it will support 200mhz fsb, but all the 200mhz FSB chips I see say they are slot a. Can i still put them on the mobo?

no. slot A is more expensive and only goes up to 1ghz. the two (slot/socket) are completely incompatible. you can always get a 266fsb chip and change the multiplier...

There are lots of 200 MHz FSB Socket A CPUs on PriceWatch (older Athlons, and Durons).

Plenty to choose from.

Kinda sucks though, all I see go up to only 1.1GHz. :( (Athlon chips that is)

Still, there's prolly someone out there who has the rare 1.4GHz chip (which is the fastest chip you can put in an A7V BTW anomaly)

Good luck!
