Difference between oxycodone and hydrocone?

Just because 1 drug is more potent doesnt make it better or worse. In example 10mg of drug a could equal 100 mg of drug b. So doctors just prescribe according to the ratio.

Not fully true. An amount of codeine equivalent to demerol would rack you with side effects. A better general rule is that more potent version of drugs are more efficacious than their less potent counterparts as side are usually diminished for a given therapeutic threshold.

Exactly.....not even mentioning patients with renal or hepatic problems or even a pregnant woman

Totally true, codeine gives me fvcking huge gas, feels like ima explode, but neither oxycodone nor hydrocodone do that...

I was on Oxycodone and Percocet for my kidney stone.

The percocet was much more powerful IMO. That stuff made me feel like a zombie. The oxycodone wasn't as bad.

percocet is oxycodone + tylenol. i think you're confused there.

Comparing the power of the two is really irrelevant; their "power" is based upon their dosage.
