Difference between MBR and GPT?

Hi there guys. Can someone explain what's the difference between MBR and GPT?

MBR allows up to four primary partitions. GPT a lot more. GPT also provides redundancy, writing the GPT header and partition table both at the beginning and at the end of the disk.

The only problem is is that even Windows 10 doesn't support GPT drives. And, how come, Windows (now 10) still don't support HDD's larger than 2.2TB?!?

Win 10 supports GPT drives...

MBR is limited to 2.2TB, but that isn't true for GPT.

(consumer) Windows as far back as Vista supports GPT volumes. To boot from them however, is a bit more complicated. You need 7 or newer, and for the most part it needs to be the x64 version. What's more you must have a UEFI BIOS.

GPT booting on x86 versions is 8(.1)/10 only.

(Vista SP1/2 x64 has UEFI boot support, but its a (insert your favourite strong language here) to get working... :|)

What is dynamic disc and what is simple? I wanted to create 5th drive of my hd in my hp laptop. Windows changed all drives to dynamic.
