I mean, I can read but I'm having a difficult time seeing what the major difference is. I've heard the original bad axe didn't support C2D well, but that appears to be bunk (as long as you have a newer revision). I also heard the original didn't have firewire, but the spec sheets on Intel's website both have 1394 ports in the back and headers on the mobo.
Anybody know what the major difference is? The only discernable difference I see is that the BX2 supports up to 800 spd memory and has better audio support. And I would think that even that may be able to be fixed with a newer bios update or something. So I'm trying to figure out why I need the BX2 if there are a few retail places where the original bad axe can be had for under $150....
