Difference between Galaxy Note and NotePro?

The 12.2 ones? One has an S Pen and the other doesn't.

Nevermind, that's Note Pro and Tab Pro. Samsung s naming structure is a bit stupid at times.

Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is 10.1 inches.
The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is 12.2 inches.

I think that's it. Samsung just decided to add on the "Pro" branding after the Note 10.1 2014 was released.

Note Pro also runs the new Touchwiz look, and instead of a hardware menu button it's now a task switcher button AFAIK.

There's no 8.4" Note. There's the old Note 8, which is low-res and only for budget use at this point, and the new TabPro 8.4, which has no pen. The modern Note tablets are the 10.1 2014 and the Pro 12.2.

Ah, thanks. I am looking for the 8.0 though I want it with KitKat. It appears they don't have that yet? Even the Samsung website only shows the note 8.0 with jellybean

The 8.0 is basically a blown-up Note 2, so don't expect last year's stuff or horsepower on it.

Can't remember if the Note 2, 8.0, and original 10.1 are supposed to get KitKat, but it will be a while anyway.

No, no, & no. At least, nothing official. The Note 10.1 hasn't moved off of 4.1.2.
What really chaffs my arse, is that the s-note on those device is not compatible with the newer s-notes on the newer note device
I used to be able to sync s-notes between the 10.1 & note 2.
