Is there much difference between the T4400 and the T6600?

if your laptop planner board supports both then no.

The T6600 is probably a newer version of the T4400.

However where a T4400 will work a T6600 might not.

Actually after looking the 4400 is newer. The 6600 was made in Q1 of 09 and the 4400 was made in Q4 of 09.

oh... then its reversed what i said.

But the cache and speed at bin'd the same, so the noticiable difference is in the platform support.
