6.70 nForce drivers (while installing, deselect 'NV IDE drivers')
97.02 ForceWare drivers (or whatever is newer)

You didn't really have to load SCSI drivers with floppy for simple SATA setup. But I guess there is no harm, either.

Ok, I am going nuts searching for this driver specifically for the EVGA E-GEFORCE 7800GT.

EVGA's own website has nothing on the card. Everywhere else I go only asks for series 7 Geforce.

Upon searching for 97.02 it only talks about the 8800 series cards and also lists 97.44 as the latest driver which according to reviewers is not a good driver to get.

So is 97.02 the best driver that will work for the card or is there something better?

I am at wits end on this.

Thanks.

Thanks, but where on evga.com did you find the drivers info for the card? LINK?

Never mind, just found what you saw. But it is generic for all Geforce cards. Catch all driver?

NV IDE drivers is not an option.

Here are the options:

NVIDIA SMBus Driver
NVIDIA Ethernet Driver
NVIDIA Storage Driver
NVIDIA Audio Driver
