wtf are you talking about: Crystal light is too expensive...

Go to Kmart, a container with 6 little tubs in it to make 12 quarts costs $3 on sale.
That's 50 cents for each 2 quart pitcher (almost the same as 2 liters)

Where can you buy good diet soda for 50 cents for a 2 liter??

For what it's worth, you missed a great deal a few weeks ago - Kmart had the crystal light on sale for $3. And, for every 5 you purchased, there was a coupon good for (I think it was $5 off) - I have enough crystal light stocked up to last me the entire summer. It was an awesome sale - those boxes of Capri-sun - it worked out to a hair over 10 cents per package of capri-sun. (bought about 15 cases for the kids)

Decided to cut a lot of the sugar out of my diet, I typically use to drink about 1 double gulp sized soda a day. I drink water, but get a bit bored of it. Crystal Light is pretty good but it gets expensive if you drink 1 pitcher a day. Kool Aid is good with Spelnda but it's comes out to be like 2 bucks a pitcher. Diet Coke is okay, I can't stand Diet Pepsi. Wondering which other diet sodas are good. I know even Diet Soda's ain't the best thing in the world for you, but cutting the sugar out of my daily routine should help me tremendously.

I like Propel which is low sugar, just looking for some decent Carbonated beverages that resemble a regular Soda I can chug down.

I typically only drink soda if I'm eating out so I've never been that heavily into the standard sort to begin with.

Diet Dr. Pepper tastes the most like regular Dr. Pepper, but I've accustomed myself to the taste of diet cola enough that I normally just get Diet Coke/Pepsi.

You can wean yourself off standard cola by going half and half for a week, then switching to all diet.

I'm sorry, but I just have to say that I don't buy.........."After diet, I just can't drink the regular"..........crapola! That is utter bull!!!

Diet tastes like ass! (Tell me that a slice of top-notch Pepperoni Pizza followed by a giant gulp of REAL Coca Cola doesn't taste good & you're high on crack!)

Your taste buds get dulled very quickly to the (after)taste of aspartame.

When I drink Diet Coke these days, it just takes like Coke to me.

Once you totally cut out normal soda and switch to diet, you get used to their taste pretty quickly.

At home we always have Caff Free Diet Coke, Diet Cherry Coke (or Cherry Coke Zero), Diet Root Beer, Diet Dr Pepper, etc. If I drink regular coke now it's just nasty to me.

The best version (imho) is probably Coke Zero. Diet A&W is pretty good too, but ultimately you can still taste the after-gack in all that stuff.

You wanna know one of the BEST little secrets in diet-soda drinking???

>>>>>>>>>>>> Mix 3/4 diet Pepsi w/ 1/4 REAL Dr. Pepper <<<<<<<<<<<<<

I will ONLY do this in a fountain-drink environment. (Just doesn't taste the same at home, but still better than any already diet-drink).

My .02!

If I got used to the taste of diet and now like the taste of diet, why would I prefer not to drink diet? Durr...

True that and when you get back to regular coke, it's like heaven. Just like drinking nonfat milk. That stuff tastes watered down. Then you drink 2% milk and you taste the cream and fat and it's SO GOOD, but you know it's fattening at the same time.

Every so often the server gives me regular instead of diet and I don't really feel strongly either way. I think I just grew out of my desire for sweets.

Same here. If I'm with someone who orders a standard cola and the waitress gives us the wrong drinks, it's never me who can tell the difference...

I agree. I'm not even a huge fan of root beer, but Diet A&W has the least 'diet flavor'. My brother in law was drinking some in a glass, and we could not convince him that it was really diet soda.

Diet Dr. Pepper and Coke zero if you are starting to drink diet.
After a couple months the diets will taste good and the reg. soda might start to taste weird. I can;t drink reg. coke now but i drink a lot of diet coke.

Picked up some Diet Dew, it's not bad, definitely not as sweet, and sort of has a weird aftertaste, the first glass I had wasn't bad and I think if i drank it for 2 weeks straight I would be totally accustomed to it. Only problem is this Aspartame crap it has, in the long run this is probably worse for me than the sugar of regular sodas. I just can't win. And I have to do research on this "contains Phenylalanine" thhing I'm reading on this Diet Coke I'm drinking sounds like a warning label to me.

"research"?
valid studies or bs studies?

i tend to like coke type drinks, they have more bite. diet sprite type stuff tastes a bit bland.

I just bought Diet Pepsi Max from Target. Not sure what it's deal is...never heard of it. It's got those goofy energy drink herbs in it, so it must be a pick me up drink.

Diet Dr Pepper
Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper
Diet A&W Root Beer (I still taste a bit of aftertaste)
Sprite Zero

A while back I tried Diet Coke with Splenda and it taste just about like regular Coke, but I haven't seen it since.

I'll have to try Cherry Coke Zero

Beware: my dad used to drink a lot of Crystal Light, and found out after a year that the high potassium in it (a salt) was raising his blood pressure. Salts and sweeteners are both used to make consumables taste better.
