Drink diet because I'm a diabetic. It took about a year before I could drink a whole diet pop because I didn't like the taste. Tastes alright now.

After drinking diet for so long regular pop almost tastes like a dessert.

I personally don't see the difference between diet and regular. They might taste differently but if you gulp enough of the diet soda, the amount of calories/sugar won't matter. It's the same with burgers. If you eat 5 "healthy" burgers, there will be no doubt in my mind that you will get fatter anyway. Sometimes, the content of the food doesn't matter, it's the servings and amount eaten that do.;):D

Have you ever read the nutrition facts on diet soda? There is ZERO calories and natural sugars that your body uses in these sodas. It uses artifical sugars and stuff like Splenda. It is not like diet snackfoods where it's simply less calories, sugars, etc.

u didn't know?

0 calories times 5 = 750cal
just like normal soda where 150cals x5 = 750cal

its the same! ;)

ok, i'll be charitable, the 1calorie cola x5 = 750cal ;)

So then, what do you guys prefer, for instance when it comes to coke/pepsi..

fresca > diet coke > diet pepsi

for me, i grew up on diet stuff...the regular cokes every now and than they'll taste good, but don't seem refreshing to me at all...too much sugar.

Diet doesn't even taste soda. It's disgusting. I can't understand at all why people like it. It takes like dirt mixed with water in a shiny can.

You know it's funny but I can think of 2 really heavy people at work that have the same sort of problem. Every time i see them, they have a diet soda at their desk or hand.

I think some people are under the asumption that maybe drinking "diet" means that they can drink as much as they like.

2 years ago, I gave up pop; now I only drink water (lots and lots), or maybe some club soda.

Do some people need a review in math here?

0 calories = 1 x 0 calories = 100 x 0 calories = inf x 0 calories

Diet for sure. I'm not diabetic but have the genes so need to watch myself, yet I have a sweet tooth so I like something more than water.

diet

after quitting pop for a while, you notice how disgustingly sweet regular pop is.
