After drinking diet for so long regular pop almost tastes like a dessert.
I personally don't see the difference between diet and regular. They might taste differently but if you gulp enough of the diet soda, the amount of calories/sugar won't matter. It's the same with burgers. If you eat 5 "healthy" burgers, there will be no doubt in my mind that you will get fatter anyway. Sometimes, the content of the food doesn't matter, it's the servings and amount eaten that do.![]()
Have you ever read the nutrition facts on diet soda? There is ZERO calories and natural sugars that your body uses in these sodas. It uses artifical sugars and stuff like Splenda. It is not like diet snackfoods where it's simply less calories, sugars, etc.

Personally I really enjoy the taste of diet sodas compared to their sugary counterparts, which a lot of my friends think I'm crazy for..but for me if they taste about the same without all the excess sugars calories, there's no reason for me not to go for the diet version.
So then, what do you guys prefer, for instance when it comes to coke/pepsi..

Diet doesn't even taste soda. It's disgusting. I can't understand at all why people like it. It takes like dirt mixed with water in a shiny can.

Why do fat people like diet soda?
I know this guy who weighs over 250 lbs and is 5"9 inches. He pounds down 2-4 huge bottles of diet cokes while eating stale cookies. He'll buy a full pak of stale cookies for only $.25

You know it's funny but I can think of 2 really heavy people at work that have the same sort of problem. Every time i see them, they have a diet soda at their desk or hand.
I think some people are under the asumption that maybe drinking "diet" means that they can drink as much as they like.
