Off all the things to spend my money on, jeans are at the bottom of the list.

So you spend more money paying for some magical, invisible being who has provided no proof or return on a life long worship of him then you do on jeans which will be worn multiple times throughout their life.

edit: just in case a sarcasm meter is broken this post is meant as a joke post 😛

Why do you hate magical, invisible beings who provide no proof or return on a life long worship, DisgruntledVirus?

For the same reason you hate posts that talk about hating magical, invisible beings who provide no proof or return on a life long worship, nkgreen?

Rotary telephones?

Exactly.

Reps for knowing that.

I've never owned a pair of 'high end' jeans - partially because I don't believe in wasting a ton of money on a single piece of clothing like jeans and because I consider jeans casual wear to get beaten up in everyday use.

QFT

My friends have been trying to get me to stretch for a pair of nice Luckys, but I don't feel like it - I'm quite satisfied with my 5-year-old Levi's, thankyouverymuch.

ive never seen any of the 3 mentioned in the OP in a store

how old are you and where do you live?
and how many hours of your day are devoted to raiding in WoW?

27, middle of no place upstate NY

that explains it.

luckys and diesels ftw. im not a fan of true religion styles

and for those who keep bitching about how expensive they are, they go on sale often (at least luckys do, you have to look for diesel sales) and you can get them for the same price as gap jeans or other crap low end brands

I didn't know that about the Lucky's - just assumed. I usually just buy my clothes at Kohl's or JCPenny's, so I just get Levi's or Lee jeans - whatever is comfortable and looks good.

As far as the latter question, I don't buy any of that stuff.

This year?
2x 8800GT's=Free
1x Phenom x3=$90

So $90 for an outdated HTPC that was running an Athalon 2800+...

Lucky's are the most comfortable IMHO.
7's have the softest denim.
TR's look like shit IMHO
RnR has nice cuts but are kinda tight
Diesel = teh mad ghey

lucky has a sale at their store about 3 times a year and you can get them for that price. compare that to getting jeans at jcp at full price is around 35-40 for a lesser quality jean. price performance ratio at its best imo.

yeah. the ones at costco though are not made in the US. good ones are at the lucky store, bloomingdales/nordstroms

If you're gonna waste money on designer jeans, you might as well get the good shit and get imported Japanese denim.
