Diesel Datsun Maxima

wow, current bid pushing 2 grand....

I could see taking it for several hundred bucks.
It's incredibly clean though, and a one owner with only 79k miles.....

Plus, it's a diesel, which I assume is somewhat rare.. I can understand the bid.

Nice as that years' M3's are, I woundn't buy that one.
His $13k reserve is $3k above book, the car has high mileage, and he admits that the car has many defects but tries to gloss it over, and I always steer clear of private party sellers who put lipsticks on thier pig, or who like to pretend that their car is in better shape than it is. Bad news: book value assumes a particular condition. Just because your car meets that condition does not suddenly make it worth more than book.

That L28 diesel is rare as hell, Eli.

I didn't even know Maxima's came with diesel.

That's a 5-spd RWD diesel Japanese 4-door family sedan folks!

You definately don't see that every day.

that sucks. i think you meant to say this

Not my style, but a quick car. I beat a GSX on the highway probably 60 - 110 on my drive home from buying my '94 RX-7.

Guy was a dick - I slowed down to give him a thumbs up for racing and he just kept looking forward like he wasn't racing me or something.

Was probably thinking 'those damn Japanese pieces of craps!'.
