Shes a great singer, I don't really care who she hangs out with or what she looks like. All I care is that she has a nice voice and it makes for some relaxing music to sleep to.

yes, because he sampled her 'thank you' from her no angel album. he used it on the track 'stan'. the same song he performed with elton at the grammy's 2 years ago. when he did a SNL performance of the track, she even tagged along to sing her part.

And she is probably buddies with Eminem because the song Stan gave her a lot of attention. Or it may be because she knows him outside of the music industry and actually likes his personality.

Regardless, not listening to her music because she is "buds" with him doesn't even make sense. Their music isn't similar, they arn't similar artists, they arn't even in the same genre.

People must hate Eminem pretty badly here to not listen to artists that were featured in a song of his. I'd say I wonder how he got that reputation, but since his songs are designed to piss people off, I can give it a pretty good guess.

I don't want to do anything that will promote him in even the smallest fashion. Call it guilt by association if you like, she isn't the a$$hole thug-wannabe but she does associate with him.

I think her role in "Stan" is what made the song. It was a great 'collaboration' if you ask me. As others said, it is kind of silly to not listen to one artist cuz of a single track with another artist... but to each his own. You are missing is all I can say.
 
The funny thing is, it wasn't even a collaboration. They ripped it off her song then told her about it after the song Stan was already done.
