Hey guys, well, as you can read from the title, I *forgot* to uninstall my previous video driver before I installed the new one. Now whenever I turn on my computer, it gets stuck at the welcome screen. There's a cursor there that I can move, but I can't do anything else. No Ctrl-Alt-Delete, nada..

What should I do now? I'm not sure if I can go into safe mode or not whenever the motherboard picture shows up. In the bottom of the screen it only says "Press Delete for BIOS" and "Shift for startup processes"

I forgot what my mobo is; I'm at school right now so I can't check. Can u guys help me please?

Should be able to enter in vga mode - else do safe mode with networking support, uninstall what you can, also find the free version of driver cleaner pro, install and tell it what your previous card was and let it run. Use driver cleaner even when you do a proper uninstall of the drivers, once in a while there are remnants that affect the new card from working properly.

Press F8 as the machine boots, select safe mode, remove all drivers for the card/ Reboot, reinstall. However I never remove older versions of drivers and never have an issue

Thanks guys. It worked! My computer is alive again!

I was pressing F8 during the motherboard screen, and it didn't work. I realized later that I had to press F8 on the screen RIGHT BEFORE the Windows screen.
