Somewhat. When I had my first GF in high school, my dad one day, while eating lunch with him, told me not to ruin my life by fscking her. Told me about emotional repurcussions and possibility of pregancy.

my dad tried when I was young(like 13)...but couldn't do it. I think he was too like, nervous or embarrased. My mom gave me 2 talks when I had a serious girlfriend senior year...both of which she tried to get my dad to do, and he wouldn't do it, so after a few weeks she ended up doing herself. *shrug*

Probably the best advice that can be given by a father.

Umm... my dad is religious and perceives that I won't engane in premarital sex, which is true however. He never mentioned it, he did try to mention it from time to time in different situations. He's kinda feels ashamed by it I guess.
