So, did anyone use to watch these? These were probably my two favorite shows to ever grace Comedy Central, and they just vanished after a while. They still air it sometimes early in the morning -- but I'm sad that they aren't making new ones.

Jerri Blank was such a hottie.

I like them both...great shows. Better than the crap out there now, specially that sketch show on fox.

I thought Strangers with Candy was completely unfunny, and all my friends agreed. Maybe it's a generational thing.

Upright Citizens Brigade was on yesterday on Comedy Central. I came home early from work and there it was two episodes back to back. I'm going to have to set my DVR to record next week. I didn't know they were playing reruns.

My favorite episode is the guy that sells dog poop on a stick as a defense weapon.

OMG I love those shows! Did you know that a Strangers with Candy movie is coming out!? Why must they cancel the funniest of the funny!?

I thought Strangers with Candy was pretty dumb until a friend of mine lent me his DVDs of the show. Now I'm a big fan and bought all 3 seasons. The humor is definitely off the wall and that's really what I like. I should try Upright Citizen's Brigade. I've been waiting for the Strangers with Candy movie to come out

From the last UCB episode:
"Blaine man, your drinkin' arm!"
"This is the most unkindest cut of all. I'm a senior!"

it was always funny to me and my friends cause that's my name. :)

David rocks. (me loads up a stream of the Santaland Diaries on thislife.org)

I haven't seen SWC or UCB. I'll have to set my Tivo.

EDIT:

David sedaris:

  • Today a child told Santa he wanted his dead father back, and a complete set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

    Everybody loves those turtles!

    * * *

"I'm going to have you fired!"

... Who do these people think they are?

"I'm going to have you fired!"

And I want to lean over and say, "I going to have you killed."

 You should listen to some of david sedaris' books on tape. Amy is on "Naked."

Both great shows, though I prefered brigade. My favorite was the "worlds longest dick joke" :)
