just curious - who among the posters here on ATPN has actually voted in a Presidential election. i wish i knew how to set up a poll, but i don't.

Yep. '80, '96, 2K. Was outside the country in '84, '88 and '92 and didn't bother with absentee ballots during those years.

I voted in 1996 (first time I was eligible to vote for President) and in 2000. I proudly voted for Al Gore.
I would vote for Ronald Reagan in his current state before I EVER vote for GWB. :disgust:

I've voted in every Presidential election since I turned 18 :)

It is not like it will actually count for anything. I don't vote because the whole US political system and democracy is bs. Those in power do nothing but mislead the ignorant masses to stay in power and collect money from special interest.

Too young to vote in 2k (we had an election here too, except it took us ~3hours to figure out who won ;)), but I did vote a month ago (provincial election) and will vote on monday (municipal election). We also have a federal election comming up in spring (most likely).
