I want to take them off, haven't had the chance ;D. "Designed for Windows XP" also needs "Enhanced by Linux".
 
Nope, left my Athon64, Mobility Radeon 9600, and Designed for Windows XP stickers on, but the other ones with the spec rundown got ripped off right after I hit the power button.

and my last laptop had the plastic protective sticker over the entire bottom around the keyboard. Three years later, (after a few upgrades) I got $75.00 less than I paid for it.

Why?
I got it 2nd hand on Ebay for like $375.00
It was a toshiba
500mhz, 256mb, 20GB HD

I upgraded to 512MB, added a lan card, a nice targus knapsack and a cheap external CD burner.
Sold it for like $300.00

The buyer was happy!

Mine has a Sensitive Unclassified U.S. Government Property sticker on it as well as a large Navy sticker on the top of it. I tried peeling them off but they've been on there for a while and I don't think I'll be able to get them off without scratching the crap out of the plastic. It's a Toshiba laptop.
 
Nah, all three stickers are still on mine. The only one I took off was the ZT3000 sticker that was going to come off before too long, anyway. I've got the ATi sticker, the WinXP sticker, and the Pentium-M sticker (technically not a Centrino since it has a Broadcom 11g card in it, but I'd rather have that than the 11b required for Centrino). They're not in the way and I don't rest my hand where they would get worn. I've thought about pulling them off but ended up deciding against it.
 
I've added stickers to mine. Couple of Airwalk ones and an Atari one. The Intel P4-M sticker came off accidentially though, still have the designed for Windows XP one on it.
