Terrible movie. Incomprehensible plot, Tom Hanks was completely mis-cast and the dialogue was terrible. Two thumbs down.

yes, i was dragged to the movie after being forced to read the book.

the book was a pleasant surprise for a pulp fiction type novel and i enjoyed it thoroughly.

the movie sucks. if you think it's good, you need to run full tilt into a wall and hopefully something will get shaken up inside because you suck too.

there was only one cryptex, not like in the book. other lame discrepancies:
- the whole damn "Priory" shows up at the end of the movie. WRONG
- Sophie's parting with Langdon is more romantic in the book
- she isn't lame in the book like she is in the movie, ie. testing the "walk on water" thing, etc.

book: 3.8/5
movie: 1.6/5

At least the actress that played Sophie was hot. The acting was mediocre.

edit: oh and this has got to be a repost because i've already posted about Da Vinci Code on this forum. so get with the program! 😛
