saw it and liked it.

i don't overanalyze movies. that's super annoying. STFU and watch it. if you don't like it, i don't want to hear your damn analysis.

I fell asleep. I'm sure I didn't give the movie a fair chance because I was very tired when I attempted to watch it, but it never grabbed my attention.

Rented it on a whim without knowing anything about it and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty enjoyable.

I never watched it because I thought the name was stupid. It was recommended by a friend though, and I enjoyed it.

No, the name "Slevin" turned me right off.

When you see the reason for the name, it's not so bad.

For the life of me, I cant imagine what "Slevin" would mean.

Well it's the main character's name, but it's not just a bad pun. I hated the name too. Just watch the movie. It's good. 🙂

4th rate and pretentious. It almost had me going, the atmosphere and the dialog really set the stage for what COULD have been an incredible ending like The Usual Suspects. But it lacked the directorial skill and the screenplay to pull it off. Like most movies that rely on a twist it devolved and fell apart as more and more of the hidden secret was revealed. Only a select few movies are capable of really selling an ending like that. This wasn't one of them.

The Usual Suspects is a good analogy. I liked Lucky Number Slevin, in that I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire movie, but it was a little too predictable and didn't come close to a move like Usual Suspects or Suicide Kings.
