AHAHAHAHA

you should get an ass whoopin for spelling it wrong !!

FFS at least get FF to help you

If by FF you mean Firefox and its built in spell check, I'm not sure how that would help, since he spelt corporeal correctly.

yep, my parents tried to use it all the way up till I turned 18....mom loved the jug cord and dad...well anything he could find handy at the time.

It sort of lost it's affect once I turned 15....and then it was a joke the last time mum hit me with the jug cord, shortly before my 18th birthday....fvck I never laughed so hard in my life, she goes for this almighty swing to get me up the back of the legs with it, and as soon as the cord hits me I burst out laughing and asked is that the best that she could do...from then on, both my parents began just arguing with me instead...punishment became pretty pointless once they realised that hitting me had no effect, and grounding didn't work either...I prefered to stay inside and use my PC (I always wondered why they didn't just confiscate that....it might have worked as a punishment).

yes, I was a little sh!t as a kid.

Sounds like you had bad parents, then again you are genetically related to them so if they're ****** ups, you're likely a fuckup too. 😛 In a word, If your kid is uncontrollable, the parent is likely not far off.

nah, just had really strict parents....their way of doing things pretty much kept me out of trouble with the law until I turned 18....

wooden yardstick

but just a tap on the butt. can't say as it hurt, and yeh, it ended up breaking.
i didn't get it that much either, but my brothers put it to the test.

hand, feather duster, switch... but they only used it if I deserved it when I was younger. (for the most part)

I went to private school too, it was used there too, and it was an actual paddle.

I would think that that would tickle with all the feathers. 😉

I got my ass whupped with those orange hot wheel racetracks and a leather belt. Guess it just depends on the mood of the ass whupper.

As a child who grew up in the south, I heard the phrase "go get me a switch" all too often. Nothing quite like a fresh switch across the back of the legs to teach a kid a lesson. I got paddled in school a few times as well.

Personally, I think too few parents spank their kids these days which is one reason they are so damn disrespectful to their mom/dad. Too many kids need their butts whipped with a belt. I find it comical and pathetic that today's preferred means of punishment is taking away a cell phone or locking up the Xbox for a night.

/steps off soapbox

Probably the worst thing was when my dad asked me what I did wrong after whopping me and I'm just standing there with teary eyes and a runny nose hoping to God that I would die and my dad feel bad for hitting me too much.

Hand for dad, wooden spoon or paddle-ball paddle for mom. We had to really screw up for dad to use his belt.

In some cases we were given the option of a spanking or being grounded. I always took the spanking to get things over with quickly.

My dad would always use those wooden sticks that they give you to stir paint with.

Usually my mom would just get my dad to do her dirty work for her, but sometimes if she was furious, she would give me a swift kick in the ass.

After about the age of 12, I dont think I ever got my ass whooped anymore. Mostly because I learned pretty damn fast what was acceptable behavior 🙂

The worst thing to hear my mom say was "Just wait till I tell your father what you did" Usually at that point I had several hours to think about it until my dad got home from work 🙁

a thin bamboo stick(no im not asian or anything) hurt like a bitch but didn't leave obvious marks.... I still got that thing in high school. Until junior year then it was straight fists but I was a big a$$hole so i probably deserved it all.

My mom used the wooden spoon, and my dad used his hand (I just hated his wedding band). They only used it when I deserved it, and as a joke when I moved out of the house after university, my mom gave me the spoon. I still use the spoon as my favorite cooking instrument.

We don't hit our kids, but I really don't have a problem with anyone who uses corporal punishment if it is applied in a thoughtful and meaningful manner. My parents never struck us in anger, and always talked to us before and after about why we were getting the punishment.

My dad had the belt and mom with the open hand. I can remember three times when I had my run in with the belt and I deserved it each time.

Oh yeah. Didnt' take long to learn. Belt and switch mostly. My mom accidently hit me with the belt buckle once, but she apologized afterwards. 😛

Yup, with pretty much anything within reach. From sticks to belts to the hand. I even remember having to go out to the tree and pick out my own stick to be beaten with. That was a hard choice, a small one would sting like hell, but a big one could cause some damage. I also got the soap bar in the mouth for cussing, that sucked. But I know I deserved it and I stopped being a little shlt in junior high. Funny thing is I never got grounded.

Yeah, not once in my life did I get grounded. I also never got an allowance, and was expected to do pretty much every chore (Dishes, laundry, garbage, mowing, etc...). Id say my parents whipped me into shape pretty good by the time I was 12, because after that, I never really caused any problems.

plenty of 2x4's were used in my household.

dad and i had the occasional through the wall episodes as well

We had a paddle hanging on a nail in the kitchen, as a constant warning. Was only used rarely, and wasn't much worse than a wooden spoon. Got smacked with a section of snow fence once, but mostly it was just with the hands.

When i got it, i deserved it. I learned the consequences of my actions around 10ish, and spankings ceased.

Humm, let's copile the list. Stand at attention, sit at attention, slapping, caning (palm, back of the fingers, butt), switching (legs), kneeling and holding a bucket overhead and leather belt. I think that covers them all. I can't remember when it ended. Courtesy of parents and teachers though, not just parents.

P.S. just remembered, in Grade 7 back in Taiwan I used to get hit everyday. I was in one of the VIP kid home form and we had quiz everyday. Home Form teacher's standard is 90%. For every grade point you are below that, you get hit once. On the palm with one long rattan rod. My class number is 1 and I suck at school. The home form teacher sees my score and goes postal.

She broke quite a few of those things in that year. Fortunate for us, one of my classmate's dad owns a rattan furniture factory. He brought in a BUNDLE of the stuff (about 1.5" diameter, 4ft long) and told the teacher (in front of the whole class) that if she ran out, just call.

Did I mention she was pregnant at the time?
