Did you put up christmas lights already?

my mom made me help her last weekend and she's wanting me to help her put up the tree this weekend:|
 
the tree and lights just got put up today. I ve seen a couple houses with their lights put up the day after thanksgiving...i suspect that they just didnt take them down from last year
 
The poll needs another option for "Some of them are up..." All I can say after this week is "Damn neighbors." I think all of our neighbors are related to the Griswalds. They all got their stuff up earlier this week and the wife has started nagging me about doing ours. 🙂

I got the tree up today, along with some light up window ornaments on the ends of the house. I'm going to have to get the lights on the hedges and trees, wrap the porch and garage doors, and put out the 8' tall santa and snowmen. Yay me. I'm almost tempted to pay someone to do it while she's at work and then I take the credit for it, but I'm too cheap for that. 🙂
