Did you purchase a Titan ?

3930K@4.2. I haven't played that far, though, just started today. Maybe performance will be worse in later levels, I don't know.

My contract got extended, so I told myself I will allow me to buy a new toy. It was either a titan or an AK-47. After thinking about it I decided that I would pay no more than 650$ for a Titan and am now the proud owner of an AK-47 😀

looks like i should have 2 tomorrow after all. guess the wife gets the 690 instead! was gonna put the titan in hers but that was when i thought i'd be getting 1 😀

Who games the hardest? Who games over more than 1 monitor? That person is the one who should get the titan SLI

i've got 3x 23" 3D LG cinema displays, so that would be me. 🙂

i must say, that out of all the games i played in 3D, starcraft 2 is still my absolute favorite!

Selling one of my Titans, had fun with it, but one is enough for my current resolution (1080) and the benefits of a single card outweigh the extra fps of a second card in my opinion.

Sure had fun benching them though !

The temptation to sell one of those cards at a markup must be intense, especially when you just know that in a couple months there will be Titans everywhere and demand will be... non-existent. Making a little profit now to help pay for buying it again when it's prevalent makes a lot of sense to me.

Only selling it for a grand shipped, I'm not cool with the whole bend people over for money thing 🙂

Some folks over at XS are working on custom BIOS' for the Titan to improve the power/voltage threshold!

This could unharness more performance, anxious to see what happens.

1000 DOLLARS for a video card?

Where the hell have I been? I guess the Sequester hasn't hurt the economy that bad ;-)

Bought one from Micro Center today and bought another two off of two fantastic sellers on this forum. Should have 3-Way SLI going this week.

I guess I'm just horrible at this whole computer building thing. 🙂

Got sick of waiting for Amazon to fulfill my order for the EVGA SC so I bit the bullet and picked up a vanilla EVGA at Microcenter yesterday. The price may be insane, but these things are really pretty incredible pieces of tech. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Now, the question is should I cancel the Amazon order or just got for SLI... hmmm.

Okay maybe I'm being dense but is the "monitor overclocking" tool out yet?

Yes. You need to create a custom resolution with a specified refresh rate.

I've tried it and didn't notice any difference in smoothness on various dell IPS panels so I reverted back to 60 - it's a very YMMV thing though! I can get 85hz on both the 2713hm and u3011.
