I didn't realize that was where all of the freaks who couldn't work in the public eye were housed.

My first IT job or my firs Job period?

My first job period : $2.38 + tips @ IHOP
My first tech job : $14.00 @ Lockheed Martin

MY first job was 29 years ago when i was 12 washing dishes in a resataurant making 1.50/hour . The owner got in trouble when someone blew the whistle on him because I was working 12 hours/day 7 days/week.

I also found out that cheap prick never paid in any S.S. for me too.

I was like 15 and worked for Chemical Bank doing data entry - $7.50/hr. This was circa '93.

Well tell us what it was!

Las Vegas brothel?

hm i don't know, i imagined there would be lots of work there. Unless he's specialized.

I used to work on the corner of 37th and 8th ave. Stupid giuliani :p

Actually, I was a systems architect (fancy name for that computer guy) for a small art company that was going online during the whole dotcom boom. Problem was, I had created a working system that was generally bug-free and almost completely automated(as in, users couldn't really screw it up too badly). Because things didn't happen all that often, I would get paid for a few hours a week just for maintenance. but there was no actual work that had to be done.

I made $6.10 working on campus. The minimum wage was $5.75 at the time so it could have been worse.
