You all must be very young. First job paid me $1.90 an hour. This was in the 70's

.60 per hour running rides at a carnivale ! (1962)

1st job was delivering papers - I think it was about $20/week back in the mid-80s.

Also detassled corn around the same time, which paid ~$500 for a couple month's work.
