I lurked for a few days while I researched my mobo/proc/case/cooling setup, but I jumped in pretty quickly. It was a couple of weeks before I started posting in OT.

I lurked for about 3 months. I was afraid everyone would make fun of me/my posts if I joined.
Boy, was I ever right.
I came from hardware central. That place was (probably still is) so poorly run that I had to bail. But, I got myself banned first.

I started posting inane crap in rapid succession. I was trying to make a point about the junk/quality of the posts. I believe I am part of the reason they no longer have an OT forum. They asked me to stop and I asked them to blow me. They banned me instead.
