did you know..

I read that, and tried it for a LONG time. It failed miserably.

Using the freeze off stuff works much better.

edit: works better than freezing!

"Of the 26 patients treated with duct tape, 85 percent got rid of their warts compared with 60 percent of the 25 patients who received the freezing treatment. "

i've used duct tape on a wart i had on my hand and it worked great. my brother also had success with this method.

So do roofing shingles.
I had a wart that kept coming back after getting rid of it several times. I was helping my brother on a roof on day & slipped & racked my hand across the shingles, tearing off the wart. It never came back after that.

I heard about the duct tape thing after this happened so i've never tried it.

I had a wart on the bottom of my foot. The doctor had me use a salacylic acid pad (common for this type of wart), and then cover the pad with duct tape. And it did work when the acid itself did not. I do not know of the tape by itself would have worked, but the combination is wonderful!

I had a couple plantar warts once, and I went to the doctor and he gave me a local and cut 'em off with a big knife. Seems much cooler (and faster... two months?) than duct tape.
