Did you know that Canadian coins are magnetic? At least the older ones are. I found this out by accident.

"You put your coin on my screwdriver!" "No, you put your screwdriver on my coin!" (does that sound familiar? Reeses Peanutbutter Cups comercial)

I wonder if there was some sort of agreement between the U.S. and Canada to make them that way. You know how you always find them them in your collection? U.S. and Canadian banks could just run a huge magnet over their coin repository to seperate the two...hmmmmmm

Us canadians have the coolest money! 🙂 not only are our coins magnetic, but we release 'limited edition' comemerative coins for everything!

and if any of our us neighbors want canadian coins or bills, i'll gladly mail u some if you mail me some money! 🙂

What sucks is when you have piles of it building.
Go out, come home with a pocket full of change, and realize you have like 15 bucks there.
 
I just got gypped the other day, I got a quarter in change and when I got to my car and noticed it was a canadian quarter. I was like "arrgh man this is only worth like 15 cents!" In wisconsin, you see the canuk money every once in a while. it's not too rare.
