Found this out when 1.9.9 wouldn't start Downloaded the most recent version, installed it and it kept telling me that it is too old.
It seems the Beta key had expired and a new version of the program hadn't come out yet (still at 1.9.9).

As stated on a main page all features of MakeMKV are free while program is in beta. You may purchase the full activation key if you like the program and want to show your support, but you also may use the temporary beta key.
