I went to my junior prom and thought it was boring and a waste of $200. Senior prom is on Saturday and I'm not going. The bid alone is $130! I'd rather go to the Speech and Debate banquet. I'm going to get a bunch of friends and go to the Outback Steak House or some nice place like that.
 
hell no... hated school enough i just didn't want to do anything bu go during the day and leave ASAP... high school was ass for me.. didn't care if i went to prom, as there was barely anyone at my school that i liked.. another schools' prom would have been fun i guess. but my school?? DIE!! heheh ... 😛
 
I went to my senior prom and it was one of the lamest experiences of my life. First of all, all the girls I wanted to ask either already had dates or weren't going, so I ended up going with a freshman. She was cool, but it was pretty weird. Then, all of my friends reserved limos and restaurants under the assumption I was going. We ended up driving by ourselves (I didn't have a license at the time, mind you, and it was my friend's car), eating by ourselves, and afterpartying by ourselves at Denny's. I don't really regret going, it just wasn't that great.
 
I did not go to either my Junior or Senior prom. I did, however, take my best female friend to her Senior prom last year. We went to the same school, so I sort of made up for not going to mine. I'm glad I waited to go with JJ; she could possibly be the love of my life...
 
I didn't go cause I didn't have money for it. It's probably the thing that I regret the most not doing in high school. All my friends went and I couldn't go because I didn't have enough. I even had to tell my date a few days before that I couldn't go(even after she bought a dress and everything)🙁
 
I didnt go to any highschool dances, and I do greatly regret it because they are truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. If I could do it over again, I would in a heartbeat.
 
i went 2 years. it was fun junior year, but not senior

if you don't dance then don't go. if you like dancing, then go.
its also a lot more fun if a bunch of your friends go
 
Went to my senior prom, which was alright, but since I went with a girl I liked and who liked me, lets just say the after-prom party was a blast 😉
 
Yup. (3 times).

It was fun, even though dances aren't exactly my scene. You should go if you have the chance. If it blows, you'll have something to complain about. 😉

Nope, I went to a NASCAR race the night of my Senior Prom, and a Bob Dylan concert the night of my Junior Prom. Time much better spent in both instances, imho. 😀 Fortunately I never dated a popular/trendy girl, so I never had to even worry about going. 😀

I did go to Homecoming once though, we left after about 20 minutes, it was that stupid.

Went to neither of my prons, I mean porn...uh...proms! My girlfriend at the time was two years older than I was and she had already been to both of hers. I asked her "Did you like the prom so well that you would like to go again?" Her response was, "No...not really." I said, "Great! Because I can think of better things to do with $300+ dollars."
 
went to junior prom with a friend, sucked ass not going with a g/f so didn't go to senior. i wish i could've, but hey, with no g/f i couldn't do anything about it...hehe
 
Went to my friend's senior prom when I was a junior... went to my senior prom. Didn't have an especially fun time at either.

At least I went.
