did you ever have a denim jacket with a backpatch?

I remember denim with buttons with some corny saying were all the rage in the late 80's in my area.
I had the jacket - but didn't have the $ for the patches I used to see in the back of the magazines....I always wanted an Iron Maiden one....
Oh man....my friend (who I met in the 7th grade, we're both 30 now, and supposedly grown up) had the jean jacket with about 20 to 30 patches all along the back and the sleeves. Metallica, G n' R, etc..
Every one thought he was the coolest, but I laughed my ass off at him. Stil do in fact, when I bring it up every few years or so in the presence of our other friends.
That and the fact he used to sport a mullet with it. Which oddly enough many of the hot cheerleaders found appealing back then

can't say that I have. I did own some crazy MC Hammer parachute pants though when I was in elementary school.
Parachute pants were pre-MC Hammer.
As for the OP, yes, I had a jean jacket with a patch on the back (GnR). I also had a pair of black parachute pants.

Yep - had one with an Iron Maiden back patch, as well as several other Iron Maiden patches on it. Still have it in a closet somewhere, I do believe.
Yap, in the late 80's my older brother and his pals would get all kind of hairband patches. Poison, Def Leapord, Scorpion, etc...

ive got a piece of mind iron maiden back patch still! got it back in the late 80s from a friend, never put it on a jacket tho. my denim jacket was painted with different drawings and punk bands. most were done by others at shows i went to. the big CoC skull on the back was the best part tho.

Entire back of mine was Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" that I had done at Myrtle Beach. If you are familiar with Myrtle, you'll know just how incredibly fitting it is to get a jacket like that done there. Had it in middle school.

I never had one, but I've seen a few around lately. I saw a few people with jackets and Megadeth patches when I went to Gigantour. You see them around at Ozzfest too.
