In elementary school, did you ever have a crush on anyone? Multiple? Or did it only start in middle/highschool?

Also, people begin to 'develop' when they're in puberty (friggen hate that word) so I was wondering, why do some people become attracted to others of the opposite sex before hand if they only develop 'these tendencies' during this time and onward?

had a crush on some blonde in 5th grade...didnt have another until 9th...actually admitted my feelings to the 9th grader and got shot down :'( oh well...we are good friends now and i have a g/f who is much cooler :D lol

Sure I did. I asked a girl to marry me when I was in 4th grade :) She ran away screaming haha

of course. i even had a girlfriend when i was in pre-k... well kinda.

I asked this girl to be my girlfriend and she told me yes but that she could only be my girlfriend on fridays because she already had a boyfriend but he didn't come to school on fridays. :laugh:

can't believe i remember that...

freaking awesome. It was wierd, the first time I asked a girl out, I didn't have a car, and I didn't want to tell my parents, so I just said, "Well, do you wanna be known as going out with me?" or some stupid crap like that. Fortunately she said yes. :) Oh, the days when I was worry free.

Had my first in second grade.
I remember I used to sit really close to her in story time so I can get a good whiff of her.
Then I had another in 4th/5th grade, and it was perpetual from there.

I can remember my first crush in 1st grade.

The weird part, supposedly we hung out all the time way before that. Played in the (*note, the and not her) sandbox and everything. Don't/didn't remember any of that. I have a vivid recollection of looking down the hallway and seeing her at her locker though. Loved that damn girl. <3 Nina

Id had a crush as well. I moved to a new school in 6th grade, and the first time i laid eyes on this girl i was in love. I pretty much had a crush on her for the next 4-5 years. I don't know what happened to her.

Didn't really have a crush on anyone until Jr High. Hell, I still have a crush on her and she just got married last year. :(

She is a fantastic woman, though, and we still keep in touch as friends.

/plotting her husband's untimely demise :evil:
