Did you ever confuse two actors for a really long time?

I thought Jeff Daniels was on Full House.

I don't think I got clarified on that until after 2010. And now I look back and Jeff Daniels and Dave Coulier don't look THAT much alike. They're kind of like cousins.

So my record is like 2 decades.

I did confuse Stephen McHattie for Lance Henrikson for a short time.
I think its when their ages, acting in a particular movie was similar. Because Henrikson
has 7-8 years on McHattie.

I don't pay attention to celebrities much. What so and so is doing, has done, plans to do, is wearing, is dating, blah blah... I don't care. The royal family... fast forward.

A guy I went to high school and the U with made a comment one day that stuck in my head... something like "why do all beautiful women look alike?" I think there's something to that and that it's a real good question. What do you think?

You're kidding, right?

For a really long time, no.

I guess now i actually watch the credits to see who's in the movie i just watched so i get to know the names.
If you look at the thread i posted below, to me, it's just beyond my comprehension how people can mix up some of the actors they have posted. Thinking 2 people look alike is different, i realize that but to confuse some of them in movies...😵

My contribution...
Watching Troy, the whole movie i thought Helen was played by Natalie Portman but saw in the ending credits it was actually Diane Kruger. At the time i had never heard of Diane Kruger though. I don't get them mixed up since then though.
From this thread-
for years i have confused these 2 actresses...

No one is talking about that. It's just about confusing 2 people.

I suppose thinking "why do all beautiful women look alike?" is subjective. Most people have a "type" so they all may seem alike to "you".

Jesse Plemons is one of the best because the guy sort of looked like Matt Damon when he played on Breaking Bad. He was nicknamed "Meth Damon"

Breaking Bad ended up making a movie in 2016 called "El Camino" to tie up loose ends with Jessie's character (not Jesse Plemons, but the character from the show). It was funny because they featured Jesse Plemons in the show since his character was so dark/cold. It was kind of bad because the timing was supposed to pickup where the show left off....well, Jesse gained a ton of weight and looked like a different person.

I have a vague memory of experiencing this, but don't recall who I was confused by. Probably some generic second tier Blond actresses.

Portman and Keira Knightley were so alike their moms confused them on the set of the Star Wars prequels.

He was known as Fatt Damon in El Camino.

Because men only "see" beautiful women with ONE eye! (and its mounted below the waist)

Also because 90% of hot women are chasing the same fashion-industry ginned up version of "beautiful".

I remember that now that you say it. It's rough because he was in a few other movies and played different roles that may have preferred him weighing more/looking older.

You never know if he's dealing with hormone imbalance or just eating alternator-sized bulk beef every night.

I cannot quite agree. I've come across a few pics in which I feel nothing at all "down there" but can deem that person "objectively" pretty to others.
One such person is Jessica Alba, and some of you probably remember that thread and my lack of proofreading....
Another is Elizabeth Hurley. Yeah, pretty but nothing sexual.

Whereas....
Camila Cabello is pretty average but her charisma warps my mind into a much simpler state....so much so I'd be her bitch even without benefits, and I'd forgive her racist statements because....yeah attraction and hormones....she's a true adorkable Cleopatra

Wat ....?? 😵

Now THAT I understand! 😉
Sometimes the eyes on the head say "she looks good to others", but the wood says, "I'm asexual for the moment".
And thus my eyes can state certain men are handsome while wood say "hell no, real women only".
