Did WoW take over your life?

just took away 1 month..did the free trial got two chars to lvl 22 got bored cuz i would of had to team up after that...got killed too easily in anything at that lvl...did not feel like grinding.....Star wars Galaxies pwoned me for 2 years, i was in since start....became uber, loved it till the stupid cu1, then cu2 took a little time off, and the deciding factor was when i killed 10 nightsister elders in a row and all i got was a friggin warm hat!!!!!!!! came back to play jedi for a bit after cu3 and quit for good.

leveled a undead frost mage to 60, female cow (hehe) druid to 38


with kids a full time job, the 3-6hr grind fest that is the wow end game was too much, and i coudn't really get into leveling another toon to 60.


quit during the holidays when the long queue waits worked like a nicotine patch... been bf2 mostly since, not as engaging, but i can quit a session in the middle and not leave a guildmate or a pug in the lurch.

i've played since day one and i balance it out, only about 10 hours a week. what would i be doing during htose 10 hours if i wasnt? watching tv, eating crap, and spending money.

Tried the open beta for a few weeks, was ok but nothing I could sit down & play for 4 hours a day, I got my need for a RPG out of the way back when Ultima I ~ IV/Bards Tale came out, nowadays I really can't stand em & have a hard time understanding how someone can play them soo much.

Oh well, instead of WoW i'm semi-addicted to CS:S :disgust:.

Nope, nice try. WoW is stupid. It is merely a digital virtual extension of Dungeons and Dragons and only weird whackjobs played that when I was a kid. You guys need some sunlight.

No its pretty boring game most people get sick of it pretty fast me on the other hand rolled 3 60s spent so many hours ... but in the end wow was i unhappy with the wasted time. its not a game that takes skill or anything like that

Its a game that takes time and he who spends more time is a "better" player. Very odd. Raids were the most boring and PvP was even worse. It was more like work then fun but somehow blizzard keeps it very additive and most keep their autobill on
