did verizon drop full retail prices on 3g phones?

I believe they dropped the prices slightly around the same time that they got rid of 1 yr contracts.

i think i like this system more. it would be nice is the 4g phones were cheaprer too, most of them are still 599 i think

I think before the drop they were around 700 bucks, so they are cheaper, however no where near as cheap as the other phones.
