she was arrested by the santa monica police for child abuse and performing lewd acts, possibly on her adopted children also. she posted bail ($200,000) and says she's innocent. i think it was charged by more than one kid tho.

I saw it on KTLA news down here. Those are some pretty crazy accusations. She looked pretty dazed on TV. Either that or she was sedated..........

only 200,000 bail? if those were the charges, her bail should have been denied. That's just sick.

I thought they were her foster children (at least one of whom is a girl) and a couple of other kids (not that it makes too much difference). All I caught was that she performed lewd sex acts on at least one of the kids and performed other lewd acts in front of the other kids.

She did look pretty dazed and out of it in the news clip, more than she does usually.

Anyway, it's all speculation on my part here...whatever it is, it's sad and gross. Either she's abusing kids she took into her home or the kids she opened her home to are lying about her for whatever the reason. She hasn't had much of a career lately, but even if she's innocent, she's not going to have much of one in the future.

Actually, not much in the way of details as to what exactly she did. She's always been a strange character, but hey, nothings been proven, and I don't even know what the allegations are yet. Still, it must have been something pretty weird.......

I find the accusations most disturbing, but will reserve judgement until more details come out.

I do however agree she should at least be fined for being supremely unfunny.
