Did the US President walk away from XO signing on camera?

Can a President really pull off a prank on April Fool's Day when his campaign and term so far seems like one long series of pranks already?

Maybe this is the real reason Ivanka is there... to support, as in really support, her dad with senior moments like this. Should be good news with another set of opinions in the mans ears besides Bannon..

I have to admit, I still have no idea why he walked out. I would have thought a video would have been released that showed the whole incident.

The business insider link has the politico tweet showing a 40sec clip, I wonder where the whole thing is.

I found this longer video, showing more before the walkout:

However it doesn't add anything of value to figuring out what happened. There's been talk of him storming out, or forgetting, but it seemed to me that the motion he made to Pence did not suggest that he had forgotten something (unless he's very good at covering forgetful behaviour, I suppose that's possible); that he was acting with intent and awareness of the circumstances.

No his body language suggests he was doing the "I don't have to put up with this shit" exit.

I agree that the look on his face as he exited the room suggested that... but why? If he had been asked an awkward question, I could understand it (insofar as my expectations of Trump compared to a mature and competent person, not 'understand' meaning I empathise and could relate to his feelings).

My only theory is that he expected the questions and so he left before he felt obliged to answer... but leaving the executive orders unsigned?

He wants to watch a pee p0rn he found before the event?

Article said reporter was asking about Trump's comment on Flynn getting immunity.

The question came after he walked out of the room, I can't see how it could be a reason for the walkout.

That is not what the hffpost article detailed. Trump was asked about Flynn, started walking out, more questions were hurled at him while he walked.

Watch the video I posted. I would be surprised if there's a better video than that in terms of longevity/useful content.

Honestly it looked to me like he forgot and when Pence stopped him the wave was instinctual "dude don't make a scene I'll look like a fool if I stop now just cover for me."

I did see reports that he was reacting to a question about Flynn but see no video evidence of that.

Had people been asking questions before Trump stepped to the podium and made the remark about seeing results very quickly? Because when he finished saying that he turned away from the direction the desk was with the documents for signing and moved towards the exit door, indicating that he was either already planning to leave before that question was asked or he got confused as to where the desk was and what he was supposed to do there. Either is possible.

If he left in anger, that was sooo beta. He's the President in the Oval Office. If people were bothering him, he should have ordered them out.

Looks to me like he was headed to the door before the question. Once that was asked he sure wasn't coming back.

It's pretty obvious to me that he was having an epic case of spitting fartitis and had to leave the room to......vent his highly pressurized and odoriferous exhaust fumes in a manner befitting his girth.

My feeling is that the media has no idea what happened, so for example huffpost saying he did it because of the Flynn question is better than saying "no apparent reason" because the latter seems like they're offering an opinionated analysis (the likely implication being that Trump is off his rocker for one reason or another), whereas the former doesn't seem quite so vindictive (the implication that a politician acted a certain way to duck a question is more in line with peoples' expectations).

The video I posted shows Trump entering the room at the start of the presentation; I don't see how that can give any room for "someone in the room must have said something to set him off before the video starts".

-edit - my earlier statement was incorrect - Trump hadn't left the room by the time the question was posed, but he was obviously already heading that way.

Yes. More precisely, the question began about 1 second after he started walking towards the door. Meaning he couldn't have been leaving because of the question. It's at 4:45 in your video. You can see he starts to walk just before the reporter fires off the question.

This is a guy that has forgotten the script. We have seen this before, give the stage to someone else for a second and have him step back and keep the line of thought going..his mind wanders off and is not coming back.
Pence is looking like the only one there playing with a full deck.
